Product

The EZ Pulse Mini is a wireless dual-pulse TENS + EMS muscle stimulator. TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) helps relieve pain and soreness, while EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) activates and strengthens muscles. It features 5 pulse modes, 16 intensity levels, and is FDA 510(k) cleared (K231648).

No — it should never hurt. At low intensities you'll feel a gentle tingling or pulsing sensation. As you increase the level, the sensation becomes stronger and more rhythmic, similar to a deep massage. If you feel pain, the intensity is too high — simply dial it back down. Start at level 1 and work up gradually until you find your comfortable range.

Most users notice relief within 2 days of consistent use, with just 15 minutes of daily therapy. Results vary depending on the condition being treated and individual response. For ongoing issues like chronic back pain or post-workout recovery, regular use delivers the most consistent benefit.

We recommend 15–20 minutes per session. Most users find 1–2 sessions per day effective. Avoid using the same area for more than 30 minutes continuously — give your skin and muscles a rest between sessions. Always listen to your body and reduce intensity or frequency if you experience any discomfort.

The EZ Pulse Mini delivers up to 100 hours of total use — equivalent to about 15 minutes a day for an entire year on a single charge cycle. The charging case holds a 450mAh battery and fully charges both units in approximately 2 hours.

Do not use if you have a pacemaker or implanted defibrillator, are pregnant, have active cancer, epilepsy, or open wounds at the application site. Consult your doctor before use if you have any underlying medical conditions.

Apply the gel pads to clean, dry skin on the target area. Power on the device, select a pulse mode, then gradually adjust the intensity to your comfort level. Always start low and work up — you should feel a strong but comfortable sensation, never pain.

Always start at level 1 and increase gradually. For relaxation and pain relief, most users find levels 4–8 comfortable. For muscle activation and recovery, levels 8–14 are common. Never begin at a high intensity.

Pads can be placed on most major muscle groups — lower back, shoulders, thighs, calves, and arms. Place pads on either side of the target muscle, not directly on a joint.

Do not place pads on:

  • The throat or front of the neck
  • Over the chest or heart area
  • The breasts
  • The head, face, or temples
  • Directly over the spine
  • Open wounds, broken skin, rashes, or inflamed areas
  • Eyes or mouth

Gel pads typically last 20–30 uses depending on skin type and care. To extend pad life, always apply to clean, dry skin and store pads on their protective film after each use. When the adhesion starts to weaken, it's time to replace them. Replacement pads (EZ Pulse Mini - Replacement Pads) are available on our website.

Conditions & Use Cases

Yes. TENS therapy is one of the most widely used drug-free approaches for back pain relief. Place the pads on either side of the affected area of your lower back — not directly on the spine. Start at a low intensity and gradually increase until you feel a comfortable, soothing pulse. Use for 15–20 minutes daily for best results.

Absolutely. EMS mode is specifically designed for post-workout muscle recovery. It stimulates blood flow to fatigued muscles, helping reduce soreness and accelerate the repair process. Apply the pads to the sore muscle group immediately after training and use for 15 minutes. Most users report noticeable relief within 1–2 sessions.

Yes. TENS therapy is commonly used to manage lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow) by interrupting pain signals and improving circulation to the affected area. Place one pad on the outer forearm near the elbow and the other a few inches below. Use TENS mode at a comfortable intensity for 15–20 minutes. Do not place pads directly over the elbow joint. Consult your doctor if symptoms are severe or persistent.

TENS therapy can help manage pain and inflammation associated with tendonitis and repetitive strain injuries (RSI) — including conditions affecting the wrists, forearms, and shoulders. Place pads around (not over) the affected tendon area. Use at a gentle intensity — TENS mode is recommended over EMS for acute tendon pain. Always consult a healthcare professional if you are unsure whether TENS is appropriate for your condition.

EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) works by sending electrical impulses that cause muscles to contract — the same mechanism used in clinical rehabilitation settings. It is commonly used to slow muscle atrophy in underused muscle groups and to help reactivate muscles post-injury or post-surgery. Use EMS mode at a moderate intensity on the target muscle group for 15–20 minutes per session. We recommend working alongside a physiotherapist if you are recovering from injury or surgery.

Yes — this is one of the most common use cases. Place the pads on the upper trapezius (the muscle between your neck and shoulder) or along the shoulder blades. Use TENS mode at a low-to-medium intensity while working. The wireless design means you can use it completely hands-free during your workday without interrupting your routine.
